Rock It by Jennifer Chance

**ARC courtesy of Netgalley in exchange for an honest review **
Rock It is the story of Lacey Dawes, a talent agent with the company that represents Dante Falcone.  Lacey has had a crush on Dante since she was 16, and he is still her secret crush.  So when Dante picks Lacey to be his interim manager, she couldn't be more excited.  And what follows is definitely a mixture of business and pleasure. And Lacey is wondering, will her dreams come true, or will her career go up in flames.
Dante is a sexy rock star, and we all love a little of that.  I thought it was a well written sexy read.  There were some parts that I had a hard time following, but it eventually all came together.  Lacey sees Dante beyond just the sexy rock god, and he has needed that for awhile it seems.  And Dante helps her see that her job that was supposed to be her passion is actually hurting her more than helping.  Lacey tries to do the right thing, and stay away from Dante, but she eventually gives in.  Lacey is torn between the fan teenage girl, and the older more professional version of herself.
Some of this was cliche, the rock star falls for the girls next door.  But cliches are cliches for a reason, we all love a little of that.  It was fun and sexy and I enjoyed it!  Book is set to release on March 4, 2014, and is the first in the series Rule Breakers, but it is not a cliffhanger.

Shame on You by Tara Sivec, this is the author of the Chocolate Lovers series that is one of my faves!  Laugh out loud funny, people looked at me strange the whole time I read these books.  This one is supposed to also be hilarious.  It's about a woman who's husband cheats on her, so she starts a PI firm.  Can't wait to read this.

This is a novella, and it is a prequel to a book that comes out later this year.  It is getting fantastic reviews.  I am not usually a huge fan of novellas, but I am going to give this one a shot.

Super Excited about this upcoming release!  I absolutely loved the first book and I have been no so patiently waiting for this one!  I will be posting a review closer to the release date!

Release Date 3/1/14

Synopsis:
“What’s the one thing you can’t go without?”
Tristan O'Donnell has money, women, and all the luxuries that cold hard cash can buy. Tristan's been sucking sunshine right from the monogrammed silver spoon his life was served up on since the day he was born. And quite frankly, he wouldn't want it any other way. He's his mother's pride and joy, his father's right-hand-man, and the envy of every guy around. All Tristan has to do is flash his million dollar smile, give his trademark wink, and he gets what he wants, when he wants, anytime he wants.
Leah Franchetti grinds her fingers to the bone; sculpting, painting, recreating treasures from trash—the very sentiment that defines her life. Her inventive, vindictive, lucrative, and seemingly unforgivable plan allowed her to shortcut her way into the life she always imagined, owning an art gallery, surrounding herself in the comfort of her passion and dreams.
When circumstances force Leah and Tristan to come face-to-face with the past and with Leah’s devious manipulation, truths come flooding forth, destroying those in the present and possibly jeopardizing both of their highly anticipated futures.
Can Tristan overcome Leah’s slander and deception—despite how dangerously close he comes to losing the one thing he can’t go without—money? Will Leah be forced to come clean, knowing she’ll have to live her life with the one thing she can’t go without—her dignity?

Coming Home by Priscilla Glenn

Coming Home got all kinds of good reviews, so I broke down and bought it!  And I LOVED it.  Here is the synopsis.
Leah Marino hasn’t been on a date in two years. After discovering the man she loved had manipulated and deceived her, she refuses to even entertain the idea of a relationship. Instead, she focuses her attention on taking care of her family, a role she’s assumed since the death of her mother and the one place she knows her kindness won't be taken advantage of again.
When a nostalgic trip back to her childhood home results in a chance encounter with Danny DeLuca, a smart-mouthed mechanic who’s as attractive as he is mysterious, Leah's carefully cultivated walls begin to crumble. She finds herself unexpectedly drawn to Danny, despite his unreliable behavior and mixed signals.
But Danny has a secret...
One that could shake Leah's already precarious foundation and bring her world crashing down around her. Suddenly, she's faced with an incredibly difficult decision--is she willing to risk everything for the chance at finding the love she's always wanted? Or are some obstacles just too big for the heart to overcome?

Let me start out by saying I loved Leah.  She was a strong compassionate character that I could completely relate to.  And even though from the beginning we get mixed signals from Danny, you couldn't help but root for him.  We know from the beginning that there is something going on with Danny, but I had no idea what it was.  And I was blown away when we found out what it was, I did not see that coming at all.
Some parts made me cry, as well as laugh.  I also really liked Danny, once we figure out his secret and why he was all over the place, he is a great male lead.  This story is heartbreaking, and beautifully written.  I felt like the synopsis was incredibly vague and I really had no expectations, but I really loved it, the author sucked me into Leah and Danny's story.  I would love more!

Forbidden Surrender, Beautiful Surrender, and Secret Surrender by Priscilla West

**ARC courtesy of Netgalley in exchange for an honest review **

These are a series of novellas, and I decided to write one review, since the story is continuous through all three books.  This is a story about Kristen who is a wealth manager and when she meets Vincent, a client, she is immediately attracted to him.  Kristen tries to keep her distance, but Vincent isn't having it.  Though Kristen is dedicated to not starting something with her client, she eventually succombs to Vincent, and this is the story of the relationship that ensues.
I enjoyed this story, although I do not understand the idea of splitting it up into three different novellas.  I felt like this could have just as easily been in one book.  There was a lot about this story that was a little cliche, the CEO and the younger naive girl that gives into him, but there were a few twists and turns also.  I believe that this should have all been one book though!

More Than Him by Jay McLean
**ARC provided in exchange for an honest review**
This review does contain spoilers from book 2, More Than Her.

This book is the third book in a series.  I loved the first 2 books and the third did not disappoint.  The first book, More Than This, was about Jake and Kayla, and the characters from book 2 and 3 are also introduced.  Book 2, More Than Her, is about Logan and Amanda, and it is quite the cliffhanger that I did not see coming.  In book 2 Logan and Amanda begin a relationship and we fall in love with them.  We learn about Logan and his demons, and he breaks our heart a little.  Logan is adopted, and his early childhood was anything but loving.  And because of that Logan has struggled.  His real father comes back at the end of book 2 and attacks Logan and Amanda, and because of that, Logan feels he needs to leave Amanda in order to keep her safe.

At the beginning on More Than Him, we find Amanda broken hearted and unable to move on from Logan,  She is also traumatized from the event with Logans birth father.  She is scared of almost everything, and most of all she is mad, and she misses Logan terribly.  The whole first part of the book is from Amanda's POV, and we do not know where Logan is.
When Logan comes back we get some insight into Logan and everything that he went through.  I wanted to be mad at Logan, but in the end I just wanted to hug him.  Logan believed that leaving Amanda was the right thing, but learns that maybe he made the wrong choice.

I loved that we got a conclusion to Logan and Amanda's story.  I will say I did miss the cocky arrogant Logan from the first and second books, but I did enjoy seeing a different part of him.  I love Amanda, she is strong, but also a little broken, and that makes her real to me.  I enjoyed this book and I would give it 4 stars, and I can't wait for the next book about Cameron and Lucy, Lucy is one of my favorite characters from all the books.

Ruined by Tracy Wolff

**ARC courtesy of Netgalley in exchange for an honest review **

This is the second book by Tracy Wolff that I have read recently and I have immensely enjoyed both of them.  Ruined is about Chloe, a college student, who has her dream internship at Frost Industries for the Summer.  She is hoping this will help her get into law school.  Ethan Frost is the owner of the company and as soon as he meets Chloe his is interested in her.  She knows he's the type of guy she should stay way from, but she can't help it.  We know that Chloe has some issues, but we don't really know what happened until further into the book.  I also knew from the start that Ethan had something he was hiding, but we don't know what.

I was sucked into this story from the beginning.  I loved Chloe and her independence.  And Ethan was gentle and tender, and hot and sexy all at the same time.  It frustrated me a bit that Chloe didn't ask many questions about who Ethan was, I felt like she just let a lot of things go unsaid.  This story also has a crazy cliffhanger that I am still recovering from.  The second installment, Addicted, comes out in June, 2014.

A sexy alpha male with a crazy twist at the end, but if you can't handle cliffhangers, might want to wait till June to delve into this one!  But check out Mr. Frost on the cover

Melting Ms. Frost by Kat Black
**ARC courtesy of Netgalley in exchange for an honest review **
This is the story of Annabel Frost and Aidan Flynn.  Annabel is a manager of a restaurant in London and Aidan is the new bartender. Annabel is cold and Aidan can't take his eyes of her.  She seems immune to his charms, but Aidan is sure he can break through her walls.
When I first started this book I thought it would be a light-hearted love story, but there was definitely more to it.  It took a very long time for me to get to the point that I liked Annabel.  She was a very cold, and that was very hard to get past.  I was not sure that we ever would, but the more you get to know her you begin to understand.  Aidan is very determined, alpha male who I was rooting for from the beginning.  I honestly wasn't sure what he was attracted to at first.  But he was determined.
I had a little bit of trouble with some of the English slang, but I was eventually able to figure that out.  I also felt like it took a long time for them to get together, and that frustrated me a bit.  But when they do it's pretty hot, with lots of blatant sexual innuendo.
