I am a huge fan of this author and I fell in love with Lucas immediately. This is a spin off from the More Than series, and we met Lucas in Lucy and Cameron's book. I have always loved Jay McLean's books because they are funny and sweet but also emotional and heartbreaking. And this one is no different. In Lucy's book we get to know some of the Preston family, but this one gets even deeper in there dynamic. It made me feel like I was part of the Preston clan. And Laney was amazing. She was strong and sweet, but also vulnerable. There was of course a time when I wanted to scream at them both! And also several heart breaking parts, I adored the whole thing. The relationship between Lucas and Laney was so complex and sweet and I loved being a part of it.
Lucas is available now, and I highly recommend it!!
