Lawless
by TM Frazier

Lawless is Book 3 in the King and Tyrant series.  While it is about different people, you really need to read King and Tyrant first to really understand the whole story.  This story is very dark and gritty, so be prepared.

Synopsis:
She's prim and proper. He's leather and lawless. It will never work between them.
It's a lie they almost believe.

We met Bear in King and I liked him immediately.  He was a supporting character that was a huge part of the story.  He's raw and brutal, but there's something about him that I loved.  He never wears a shirt, and I am a sucker for a biker!!  In Tyrant we see him walk away from the MC and now he is lost.  He has spent his whole life thinking he would take over the MC and now he has no direction.
Thia is awesome.  She is strong and sweet, and I loved her.  She's feisty and she doesn't take any crap from Bear.  She goes through something terrible and I wanted to hug her.
There were a few times I wanted to punch Bear in the face, but I still wanted them to be together.

This book is a cliffhanger!!  The next book is not due out until February, so beware.  I can't wait to read the next one, the end of this one almost killed me!!
The author is having a giveaway for 2 signed copies of Lawless, so make sure you enter.  The cover is HOT!

The Fall Up
by Aly Martinez

I have read other books by this author so I was really excited to get into this one.

Synopsis:
I wanted to jump.
He made me fall.

As a celebrity, I lived in the public eye, but somewhere along the way, I’d lost myself in the spotlight.

Until he found me.

Sam Rivers was a gorgeous, tattooed stranger who saved my life with nothing more than a simple conversation.

But we were both standing on that bridge for a reason the night we met. The secrets of our pasts brought us together—and then tore us apart.

Could we find a reason to hold on as life constantly pulled us down?

Or maybe there’s only one direction to go when two people fall in love at rock bottom—up.

I fell in love with these characters.  Sam was sexy and a little alpha and  I am always a sucker for that.  Levee was a little harder, cause it took a while to figure her out.  But once I did, I wanted to hug her, but shake her a little too.  She was a little broken, but also lots of fun.  I loved the progression of there relationship.  And how Levee started to come out of her sadness.  And Leevee's best friend Henry was hilarious, he cracked me up.  This book was full of the feels!!  It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it was a little sexy too.  Aly Martinez is the queen of emotions for sure, all of her story's suck you in and make you feel for the characters.

This book is live now, and the author is also having a giveaway for a $50 gift card, so make sure you enter!  This book was a sweet and sexy love story and I highly recommend it, it was a sold 4 stars for me.

Dirty English
by Isla Madden-Mills

I was very excited to read this book.  I have read other book by this author, and I loved the sound of this one.

Synopsis:
A scarred fighter.
A girl with rules.
One night of unbridled passion.

There are three things you need to know about Elizabeth Bennett: she’s smart as a whip, always in control, and lives by a set of carefully crafted rules. She’s learned the hard way that people you love the most always hurt you in the end.

But then she meets Declan Blay, the new neighbor at her apartment complex.

A tattooed British street fighter, he’s the campus bad boy she’s supposed to avoid, but when he saves her from a frat party gone bad, all her rules about sex and love fly out the window.

She gives him one night of unbridled passion, but he longs for more.

With only a cardboard-thin wall separating their bedrooms, he dreams of possessing the vulnerable girl next door forever.

One night. Two damaged hearts. The passion of a lifetime.

I was sucked into this one right away.  I fell in love with Declan immediately (and his twin brother)  He's a fighter and he won sexiest man on campus, add to that he's English, and I was in lust from the start.  He was also super sweet and a little arrogant.
Elizabeth was broken, and kept to herself.  I wanted to hug her and shake her for a good portion of the book.  She has rules that she tries to live by so that she doesn't get hurt again, and Declan doesn't fit into them!

Mad Love 2
by Colet Abedi

I read Mad Love 1 forever ago and I had accidentally stumbled onto it.  I fell in love with the characters, but the end was quite the cliffy and I have been anxiously awaiting the conclusion.

Synopsis:
Heartbroken by the handsome and enigmatic Clayton Astor Sinclair, Sophie Walker has put her whirlwind romance with him in the Maldives behind her and is determined to focus on her career as an artist.
But when her new job in the south of France turns out to be too good to be true, she can't help but wonder if she is making a mistake. Their passion cannot be denied, but when Clayton shuts her out after a family tragedy, Sophie is determined to fight for what is right.
She must defy all odds to find her own happily ever after.

The end of Book 1 made me crazy so I was very glad that this book picked up where the last one left off.  I felt like in this book Sophie really grew and matured, and made me respect her even more.  She realized who she was and fought for what she wanted.  So this time when Clayton shuts her out, she doesn't let him get away with it.  This book found a bit of a reversal for me, and I was mad at Clayton for a good portion, whereas last time I was mad at Sophie!!!
This was a 4 star read for me.  The only reason it wasn't a 5 star read is because I wanted more at the end.  I think it needed an epilogue, maybe a HEA.  I highly recommend this series though and both books are available now.

The Dark Ones
by Rachel Van Dyken

It is no secret that I am a huge Rachel Van Dyken fan.  I do not normally read paranormal books, but for RVD I was willing to give it a shot.  And I am so glad that I did!  I loved this book from the very first page.

Synopsis:
To touch a Dark One is death.
To talk to an immortal is suicide.
Yet, I've been marked by both.
A Vampire.
And the King of the immortals.
My life is no longer my own.
And now I know the truth, my life was never mine to begin with.
It was theirs.
It's always been theirs.

This book is about a group of immortals who cannot breed with other immortals so they must mate with humans.  This is going to be a series, so each immortal will have a book, which is good.  We meet all of them in this first book and I loved them all.  As with all RVD books, the characters are awesome.  This book is about a vampire named Ethan and Genesis.  Ethan was hot, sexy, and a little funny at times.  Genesis was sweet and sassy, and a little vulnerable.  I was sucked in from the first page!!

This book is available now and I can't wait for the next books in the series!!

My Kind of Forever
by Heidi Mclaughlin

This is the last book in the Beaumont series and it is live today!!  This is a new part of life for Liam and Josie and I can't wait to read it, but I am sad the series is over.
Synopsis
Liam Page knows music and a life of solitude, but that all changed when he returned to Beaumont.

The once notorious bad boy lead singer of 4225 West is now living the domesticated life with his wife and high school sweetheart, Josie, and their son, Noah.

Life is good for the Westbury family, until Liam is called back to Los Angeles and the place where it all started for him.

Liam and Josie’s story continues in this last installment of The Beaumont Series.

Excerpt
The way the mirror on my dressing table is angled gives me the perfect opportunity to watch Liam undress. This is my favorite ritual, morning and night. I’ll take the chance anytime I can to watch him methodically peel off his clothes. He’s a man who unties his shoes first, placing them back on the shoe rack. His socks are next, followed by his shirt. My peeping tom ways are often rewarded when he’s wearing a dress shirt. Not only do I get to watch the muscles in his back flex as he pushes each button through the ridiculously small hole, but his undressing is prolonged. He takes his t-shirt off the same way every time and when he pulls the collar from behind and the shirt slowly lifts inch by inch, my mouth waters. My lips become dry and my knuckles ache from my hand clutching my hairbrush. The clank of his belt buckle and the almost too silent pop of the fabric from his button down jeans have me staring intently into the mirror. My make-up is only half off, my mouth wide open and I’m the picture of someone who needs serious help. And let’s not get started on the way he gets dressed...
He knows I watch him. This is a game to him. He could sleep in or stay up late, but he doesn’t. Liam gets up with me in the morning and goes to bed when I do at night and I’m starting to think it’s because his intention is to have me committed. I may or may not have a drooling issue when it comes to staring at my husband. You’d think that after watching him grow up that I’d be used to his body, but the truth of the matter is, he didn’t fully grow until he left Beaumont. I missed the transformation from teenage boy to man. Sometimes I think I’m happy that I did, but other times, I think about all the other women out there that have experienced his transformation. I hate them all. I’m jealous of them and I don’t know why. I have him now. He chose me.
His jeans drop to the ground and he kicks them aside, depriving me of the chance to watch him bend over to pick them up. I find myself leaning into my vanity to get a better look as his thumbs dip into the waistband of his boxer briefs. Men find women's lingerie sexy and appealing. It turns them on. The look and feel teases them and they love it. I never thought about men in their underwear until I saw Liam in his. Over the years he’s maintained his muscles, yet has a more defined physique. His boxers aren’t sagging in places they shouldn’t. My husband could be an underwear model with his form fitting briefs, although I don’t know if I’d want the world to see what he only shares with me. The cotton fabric pools at his feet. He steps out of them and turns around, showing me his naked body... a body only for my eyes, my hands, my lips and any other part of me.
“How long are you going to stare at me?” I swallow hard as my eyes flash to his and a wicked grin plays across my lips.
“Until my eyes no longer work,” I tell him. “Or until you tell me to stop.”
“Hmm that’ll be never,” he says as he walks near me.

This is the last book in this series, but the author has said that all the kids in the series will get books!!  So exciting

Capture
By Rachel Van Dyken

I love everything that RVD writes, and this was no exception.  This is a new stand alone novel that is has a combo of Seaside and Ruin characters.

Synopsis:

Losing your ability to speak at the age of seventeen; it’s not normal or fair.
But trauma, has a way of throwing normality out the window.
Dani lives anything but a normal life.
Her sister is married to one of the biggest names in Hollywood.
Her best friends are rockstar duo AD2.
And she has more love around her than most people experience in a lifetime.
But that doesn't change the fact their parents are dead.
Or that it's her fault.
It seems her new normal is being a mute, living on the inside, unable to actually
communicate on the outside.
That is until Hollywood’s newest heartthrob Lincoln Greene hires her as his assistant for
the summer.
He's gorgeous, completely unavailable, and unobtainable.
But that doesn't stop her from wondering...if things were different...would he want her?
If she was whole, would he be the other half?

I loved the characters in this story.  I already loved the Seaside and Ruin characters, but I loved Lincoln and Dani as well.  Lincoln was sexy and sweet but also a little dorky, which made him loveable to me.  Dani was only seventeen but she was smart and funny and sarcastic.

Rachel's books are always funny, sexy, and sweet, and this one was no different.  The characters are so great and I love them all.  We also meet Zane in this book and he was amazing!  I can't wait to hear the rest of his story, and his book is next!!
Capture is LIVE and available now!!  It can be read as a stand alone, but I loved the Ruin series as well as the Seaside series, they are great reads and totally worth it.

Tyrant
by TM Frazier
This is the followup book to King and I have been anxiously awaiting it's release!!  The end of King was a huge cliffhanger so I couldn't wait to see how it was resolved.
Synopsis:
I. Remember. Everything.
Only now I wish I didn’t.
When the fog is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself.
But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I’m more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King’s bed.
Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know.
I will put the lives of those I love most at risk if I let on that my memory has returned, or if I seek help from the heavily tattooed felon who owns me body and soul.
I don’t know if I’m strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day.
He’s already saved me in more ways than one. Now it’s my turn to do whatever it takes to save him.
Even if that means marrying someone else…

At the end of King, King has sent Pup back to her family in exchange for his daughter, but we know right away that's not what happens.
This book picks up right where this one ends, and so much happens.  We learn who Pup really was, and all the things that led her to be at King's house to start with.  As her memories return, she realizes all the terrible things that had happened.  There are so many twists and turns in this one, and I really enjoyed it.  Everything was tied up in a nice bow at the end.

Getting Hot
by Mia Sheridan
Getting Hot is book 2 in the Jail Bait series, but can be read as a standalone.  I really enjoyed this one and it inspired me to read the other books in the series.
Synopsis:
Rules of engagement:
1) You have the right to use force to defend yourself.
2) Fire may be returned to stop a hostile attack.
3) You may not seize the property of others to accomplish your mission.
4) Detention of civilians is authorized in self-defense.

Delilah Morgan and her older sister Destiny have been on their own for two years, since their parents burned down the family home and went to jail for cooking meth. She’s street smart and tough. Nothing about her says sixteen, and she’s not about to tell anyone, especially Bran, the hot ex-marine bartender Destiny has her eye on. He’s stable and successful and everything her sister needs to keep them off the street. The only problem, something about Bran inspires her and suddenly she’s writing the best music she ever has. About him.
Branson Silo knows what it means to be in the line of fire. Home for a year from his second tour of duty in Afghanistan, he thinks he’s safe…until he meets Delilah. Despite her sharp tongue that makes him want to take cover, he can’t deny the attraction. But when he hires her to play weekends at his family’s saloon, he finds out she’s more than he can handle…which is saying something considering he used to blow things up for a living.
When the grenade finally explodes and the shrapnel flies, will Bran be left standing? Or has he survived years at war only to be taken down by Jail Bait?

I had no expectations going into this book and I was pleasantly surprised.  I  loved Branson and Lilah.  Lilah's sister Destiny made me mad though.  This is also one of those books when you want to scream at the characters for a good portion of the book!!  But I loved the story and it was really hot!!

The Moment of Letting Go
by JA Redmerski

This book is LIVE today and I really enjoyed it!!

SYNOPSIS:
Sienna Murphy never does anything without a plan. And so far her plans have been working. Right after college, she got a prestigious job and gained the stability she'd always craved--until work takes her to the sun-drenched shores of Oahu and places her in the path of sexy surfer Luke Everett. For the first time, she lets her heart take control. Drawn to his carefree charm, she makes a spontaneous and very un-Sienna-like decision to drop everything and stay in Hawaii for two more weeks.
Luke lives fast and wild. When he meets Sienna, he's convinced that some no-strings-attached fun is just what she needs. As their nights quickly turn from playful to passionate, Luke can't deny the deep connection he feels. But there's a reason Luke doesn't do long-term. He can't promise Sienna forever, when the enormity of his past has shown him just how fragile the future can be.

This was a great book about overcoming fears and I devoured it.  I loved Luke and Sienna.  Luke was sexy and fun, and also a little sad.  Sienna was strong and serious, and was learning how to let things go.  I really loved this story, it reminded a bit of The Edge of Never, by this same author.

Cover Reveal for Marley
by Lesley Jones

From the author of Carnage 1&2, comes this follow up novel. Marley tells the story of Carnage from Marley Layton’s POV. It will give you the missing years. Marley is a companion novel to Carnage 1&2 and both of those books should be read first.
Want to know what really happened in that hotel room in Paris?
Want to know if the rumours of Marley, Sean and their sexploits were true?
We got to watch Georgia fall apart but what was Sean going through in those four years they were separated?
Marley will give you the answers but he might just break your heart along the way.
"‘So, they want me to write a book? They want to know about my band, my life, my loves and my losses. But they have no idea what they’re asking for. If I give them what they want, they’ll get so much more than the sex and drugs and the rock and roll they’re expecting. They’ll get the secrets that I’ve kept for so long, they’ll get an insight into the person I really am, or at least was. They think they know my story, they know nothing.
If I do this, if I write honestly and give them the ugly truth, people will get hurt. People that I love, people that have already suffered in the worst possible ways.
Do I do this, or do I walk away? Taking my secrets to the grave."
Marley is an adult contemporary romance. It contains content suitable only for grownups with an open mind. There are scenes of group sex which include m/f/m a little bit of f/m/m and even some f/f/f/m/m/f/f/f. There is drinking and drug taking involved. A lot of swearing, some Essex slang and some very high emotion. Please don’t complain after reading this book that you weren't warned.
And yes, of course you’ll need tissues.

I have been waiting for awhile for this one, so I am super excited for this to come out.  And the cover is HOT!  I can't wait to read more of Marley's story, and I am certain it is going to break my heart.  This book will be available sometime this fall.

Kick Push
by Jay Mclean

I have read everything from this author so I was excited to read this one as well.  And it definitely does not disappoint!

Synopsis:
There's a single defining moment within every skater.

It lasts only a second. Two if you're good.

Three if you're really good.

It's the moment you're in the air, your board somewhere beneath you, and nothing but wind surrounds you.

It's the feeling of being airborne.
The sixteen-year-old version of me would've said it was the
greatest feeling in the world.
Then at seventeen, I had my son.
And every single second became a defining moment. Even the ones that consisted of heartbreak when his mother left us.

Seventeen. Single. Dad.

That's what my life became.
Yet, every day, I managed to find that feeling of being airborne.
Or at least I convinced myself I did.
But I lied--to myself and to everyone around me.
Until she showed up; Tanned skin, raven dark hair, and eyes the color of emeralds.

You know what sucks about being in the air?
Coming down from the high.
Sometimes you land on the board and nail the trick.
Then kick, push, and coast away.
Other times you fall.
You fall hard.
And those are the times when it's not as easy to get back up, dust off your pads and try again.
Especially when the girl with the emerald eyes becomes your drug...
And you become her poison.

I was sucked into this book from the prologue!!  I fell in love with Josh immediately.  He is a single dad who is just trying to keep it all together.  He is sweet, funny and sexy!!  Becca comes along, and we know there is more to her, and it makes her incredibly complex and a bit mysterious.  She also broke my heart.  This book was very emotional, and I loved it!  Parts of this story are sweet, and funny, and heartbreaking.  I laughed and I cried, so many FEELS!!!!!  I fell in love with Josh, Becca, and Tommy, and I think you will too.

This is the first in a series, and I would not call the end a cliffhanger, but it is not all tied up!  This was a 5+ read for me and I loved it!!

Out of Time
by Beth Flynn

Out of Time is the followup book to Nine Minutes.  Nine Minutes was one of my favorite reads of 2014, and I have been anxiously awaiting this one.  Even the Synopsis is crazy

Synopsis:
They thought with his execution it would all be over.
They were wrong.

The leader of one of South Florida’s most notorious and brutal motorcycle gangs has been put to death by lethal injection. Days later, his family and friends should have been picking up the pieces, moving on. Instead, they’ve been catapulted into a world so twisted and dangerous even the most ruthless among them would be stunned to discover the tangled web of deception, not only on the dangerous streets of South Florida but all the way to the top.

In this gripping follow-up novel to Nine Minutes, Out of Time takes readers from the sun-drenched flatlands of 1950s Central Florida to the vivid tropical heat of Fort Lauderdale to the halls of Florida’s Death Row as we finally learn the gritty backstory of Jason “Grizz” Talbot and the secret he spent his life trying to conceal.

Not even Grizz’s inner circle knows his full story—the tragedy that enveloped his early life, the surprise discovery that made him the government’s most wanted and most feared, and the depths of his love for Ginny, the tenderhearted innocent he’d once abducted and later made his wife.

Once Grizz’s obsession and now the mother of his child, Ginny has spent years grieving the man she’d first resisted and then came to love. Now remarried to Tommy, a former member of the gang, the pair a spent more than a decade trying desperately to live a normal existence far from the violent, crime-ridden world they’d once carved out on the edge of the Florida Everglades. For Tommy, especially, the stakes are high. Desperately in love with Ginny for years, he’s finally living his dream: married to the woman he never thought he could have. But even with the façade of normalcy—thriving careers, two beautiful children, and a genuinely happy and loving marriage—they can’t seem to put the past behind them. Every time they turn around, another secret is revealed, unraveling the very bonds that hold them together.

And with Grizz finally put to death, now Ginny has learned secrets so dark, so evil she’s not even sure she can go on.

Will these secrets tear their love to pieces? And how far will Grizz go to protect what he still considers his, even from beyond the grave?

Out of Time is book 2 in the series and is definitely not a stand alone.  It does answer a lot of questions, but it also creates more!  There will be a book 3, so things are not tied up at the end of this book.
We get a ton of insight into all the characters in this book, especially the younger years of Grizz and Grunt.  I loved that this book jumped between POV's.  We got a lot of Grunt's POV from Nine Minutes, which gave me a lot of insight into his feelings for Ginny.  It also jumps time frames as well, the book spans a good 50 years.  So much happens in this book!!
Displaying out of time teaser 3.jpg
This one blew me away, just like Nine Minutes did.  So much happens and I wasn't sure who was good and who was bad, and what was going to happen next.  The end in INSANE!!  It is definitely a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait for the next one.  If you read Nine Minutes, you absolutely must read this one.

Twenty One (Book 2 in Love by Numbers)
By ES Carter

I have anxiously been awaiting this book since I read Nineteen (Book 1)

Synopsis:

Fate kept placing Emma Campbell and Jake Fox in each others paths.
Fate also kept putting overwhelming obstacles in their way.
What fate didn’t realize is that Jake and Emma share a connection that is stronger than circumstance.
An intense bond that threatens everything they thought they knew about themselves, one that is only made stronger by a perfect day.

A perfect day where they both surrendered to the force of their feelings for one another.
A perfect day that ended in darkness and tragedy.

Jake is missing.
Emma is lost.
Lost in grief; lost in hopelessness.

Will fate finally grant them a chance to be together or will it tear them apart?

This is the second part in the “Love by Numbers” series and is a continuation of the story that began in “Nineteen”.
It is not to be read as a standalone.
*Suitable for readers 18+ due to scenes of a sexual nature.

I fell in love with these characters in Nineteen, but the end almost killed me.  It was a crazy cliffy, so I couldn't wait to get into this one.  Thankfully the author didn't make us to wait too long to find out Jake's fate.  We still get a little of the cocky bad boy we got in Nineteen, but he his near death experience seems to leave him clearer.  He's done waiting and he is loving and sweet in this book as well.  Emma seems to have realized who she is and what she wants and she is much stronger in this book.  I loved her in Nineteen, but I admired her in this book.
The supporting characters made this book what it is.  I loved Nate and Live, they were amazing friends.   And I can't wait to get more of Liam and H in the future.
Both of these books are 5 star reads and are available now!!!  Nineteen is currently on sale for $.99, so no excuses!

Out of Time Blurb and Cover Reveal

I cannot remember being this excited for an upcoming book.  Nine Minutes was amazing and the end blew me away.  I can't wait to read the rest of the story.  And if possible, the blurb has me even more excited!!

Blurb
RECOMMENDED FOR READERS 18 AND OLDER DUE TO
STRONG LANGUAGE, SEXUAL SITUATIONS AND VIOLENCE

Out of Time is book two in a series. It is not a standalone novel. I highly recommend that you read my first novel, Nine Minutes, to be able to understand the background stories of the main characters. There are many twists and turns in both stories that can best be connected if read consecutively.
Although I do answer all of the outstanding questions from Nine Minutes, there is more to this story, and some readers may consider it a cliffhanger. If you do not like cliffhangers, you may want to wait until the third novel is released in 2016.
