I discovered Devney Perry recently when I read her first novel, The Coppersmith Farmhouse, and I fell in love.  Her story sucked me in immediately, so I was very excited to read this next book.  Technically this is book 2, but can be read as a standalone.

Synopsis:

I fell in love with this book from the beginning.  This is a story about redemption and second chances.  My heart broke for Emmeline throughout the book.  When Nick leaves her, and her horrible family, just made me so sad.  But she was strong, and kept going, and I loved her so much.  And Nick is a great alpha male.  He is sexy, and sweet in that alpha way that I just swoon for. 

This is a sweet second chance romance and I loved it.  I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sweet alpha, second chance romance.  It is incredibly well written and I absolutely adored it!!!

LJ Shen has a way of sucking you in completely.  The characters are so flawed, but so great at the same time.  Dean really started out as an A Hole!!  He was a jerk in the previous book, but he took it to a new level in this one.  And as we got more insight into Dean and his story, it was truly heartbreaking.  

When we met Rosie in the previous book. we knew she was sick, so I wasn't really sure how this book would go.  But I truly admired her!  She is so strong, and knows who she is and what she wants.  Her relationship with her parents about killed me and I was so mad at them.  This book definitely invoked a ton of emotion, I was mad, I was sad, I smiled.  It covers all the bases for sure!!

This is the second book in the Like Us duet, following A Boy Like You, this cannot be read as a stand alone.  A Boy Like You had a crazy cliffhanger so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one.

I fell in love with these characters in A Boy Like You and I couldn't wait to find out there ending.  The end of the previous book left me with so many questions.  This duet is very different.  It started to lean a little paranormal, and I really wasn't sure where it was going. 

Watching Wes and Josselyn come develop was such a great ride.  Josselyn went from a lost and broken girl into such a strong inspirational character, I loved her.  And Wes was a sweet swoony boy that helped her along the way. 

This is a inspiring story that has all kinds of funky twists and turns.  It's about moving on and finding out who you are, and writing your own ending.  I loved every second of it 

Both books in this duet are available now, and everyone should absolutely read them!!

We met Thatch and Austin in Book 1 of this series, but we don't much about them.  When this book starts out, Thatch has broken Austin's heart and he was quite the jerk.  I really hated him for a good part of the book!!  We know there is more to the story, and as that unfolds, I started to feel bad for him, and eventually, I ended up loving him!!
I loved Austin from the beginning, she is sweet and adorable and hilarious.  Her junk food obsession cracks me up.  And as always with RVD's books, the supporting cast is amazing.  I loved getting more of Lucas and Avery. 

This is a sexy, light hearted read and I loved it!!  It is available now, and Book 1 is also on sale!

I am a huge Aurora Rose Reynolds fan.  She writes great alpha males, with fun female characters, with just enough angst.  And this one fit right in!

We met Kim and Sage in Until Ashlyn, but this book can be read as a standalone.  I fell in love with Sage from the beginning, and Kim was a sweet and loveable girl.  Sage had the right amount of Alpha, without being a jerk.  This sucked me in from the beginning and I devoured it.  I can't wait for more!  Another BOOM!!

This book is part of a series, and I love the whole thing, but this can be read alone.  There was the right amount of drama and angst, and it kept me completely enthralled.  This is live today and I highly recommend it!!
