Until June (Until Her Series)
by Aurora Rose Reynolds

Until June is part of a series and can be read as a stand alone.  I read it before reading any of the rest of the series, but I fell in love, and I have since gone back and started the series from the beginning!

Synopsis:
June Mayson and Evan Barrister’s whirlwind courtship resulted in a secret marriage right before he left for boot camp. Evan knows deep in his gut that June is too good for him, but after getting a taste of the beautiful life they can have together, he’s unwilling to let her go. June promises to wait for him, knowing neither time or distance will ever change her feelings for Evan—that is until she’s served with divorce papers while he’s overseas and she’s forced to let him go.
Her marriage and divorce a well-kept secret, the last person June expects to run into when she moves back to her hometown is Evan. Angry over the past, she does everything within her power to ignore the pull she feels whenever he is near. But how can she ignore the pain she sees every time their eyes meet? How can she fight the need to soothe him even if she knows she’s liable to get hurt once again?
Is it possible for June and Evan to find their way back to each other again? Or will they be stopped by an outside force before they ever have a shot?

This author is great at writing alpha males, who are badass and dirty talkers.  I love them.  And the females are always a little sassy, and tons of fun!  June and Evan are no different.  The relationship is beautiful, and at times heart breaking.  This is a great second chance romance that has you rooting for the characters from the start!

If you are a fan of dirty talking alphas, and strong sassy females, as well as a fun entertaining read, this series is for you!  I highly recommend it!  If you want to start from the very beginning, Until November is currently free!!!

Until June is available now!!  Purchase Link for Until June

Filthy Foreign Exchange
by SE Hall and Angela Graham

I have read all the other books that these 2 have written so I was excited to read this one.  And it was my favorite by far.

Synopsis:
Echo Kelly is loyal to her studies, family, and aerial artistry. She has no time for or interest in anything else, and is heartbroken when her oldest brother, Sebastian, gets accepted to a study-abroad program— exchanging places with cocky, not-at-all-shy foreign exchange student Kingston Hawthorne.
Kingston Hawthorne had the life every twenty-year-old guy dreams of— endless cash, easy women, and fast cars— until his father ripped it all away, shipping him off to the States and placing him temptingly close to the underage virgin who fascinates him in the most challenging of ways.
With Kingston’s bedroom just a connecting bathroom away from Echo’s, the chemistry between them is even more enticing than the notes he leaves for her on the shower door.
How long can you pretend you’re just friends?

I loved Echo.  She was a very different character, she was sweet and innocent, but also super sassy.  Kingston was hot, sexy, and arrogant, but also sweet.  There's was a ton of angst, every time I thought something was gonna happen, it didn't!
The banter between Echo and Kingston was hilarious.  Most of the books by these authors are centered around sex, but this one wasn't!  There is so much buildup I couldn't put it down.  This one does end on a cliffy, but the next one comes out in May, so not too long of a wait.  I really enjoyed this one and highly recommend it!!

Listen to Me
by Kristen Proby

I am a huge fan of Kristen Proby, so I as so excited to read this book!  This is the first book in a new series.
Synopsis:

In New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Kristen Proby’s brand new series, five best friends open a hot new restaurant, but one of them gets much more than she bargained for when a sexy former rock star walks through the doors—and into her heart.

Seduction is quickly becoming the hottest new restaurant in Portland, and Addison Wade is proud to claim 1/5 of the credit. She’s determined to make it a success and can’t think of a better way to bring in new customers than live music. But when former rock star Jake Keller swaggers through the doors to apply for the weekend gig, she knows she’s in trouble. Addie instantly recognizes him—his posters were plastered all over her bedroom walls in high school—he’s all bad boy...exactly her type and exactly what she doesn’t need.

Jake Keller walked away from the limelight five years ago and yearns to return to what’s always driven him: the music. If he gets to work for a smart-mouthed, funny-as-hell bombshell, all the better. But talking Addie into giving him the job is far easier than persuading her that he wants more than a romp in her bed. Just when she begins to drop her walls, Jake’s past finally catches up with him.

Will Addie be torn apart once again or will Jake be able to convince her to drown out her doubts and listen to her heart?

I love Kristen Probys books and all of her characters.  Her series always have interconnecting story lines and all of the characters are always popping up in each others books.  I am sure this series will be no different.  We meet all 5 of the women that own Seduction in this book, even though it is really Addison's story.  Addison is a hilarious. successful, smart and sexy woman and I loved her.  This author has always had a way of making me love her characters.  And Jake is a sexy rock star who is also a but of a dirty talker, which I am a sucker for.  This author is great at creating alpha male heroes who are also tender and loving!!

This book releases on April 12 and is available now for pre order!  It is a sexy sweet story that I adored.  I highly recommend it.

The author is also having a giveaway for a $25 giftcard to the book retailer of your choice, so make sure you enter!!!

Where Lightning Strikes
by AL Jackson

I LOVE AL Jackson so I was so happy when I was asked to review this one.  It is a Bleeding Stars novel, but it can be read as a stand alone.

Synopsis:
Do you know what it feels like right before lightning strikes? How you can feel the current running through your veins? The trembles of warning that ripple through the air? It was a thrill Tamar King chased all her life until it became the very thing she had to escape.

For the last four years, Tamar King has hidden herself in an isolated world she created. She was safe. No one could touch her. Until Lyrik West walked through her door.

He’s the lead guitarist for Sunder and everything she can never have. The dark and beautiful rock star becomes everything she craves.

Lyrik’s life has been devoted to his band and that success has cost him. Bitter, hard, and filled with regret, he refuses to lose himself again, but from the moment he sees her, he wants one night with Tamar King.

The gorgeous bartender is more than he bargained for. Their attraction is consuming. Their desire overpowering. With one touch, they ignite.

But is it worth the cost of getting burned?

She’s a gorgeous nightmare and he’s a wicked dream
…

We met both of these characters in the previous books, but we didn't learn much about them.  Lyrik is beautiful bad boy with a troubled past.  It takes most of the book to uncover all of it.  And Tamar is a sexy strong girl who is also hiding a troubled past.  She uses makeup and clothes to hide who she really is, she even goes by a different name.
As both stories unfold we start to understand the dynamic.  I was so impressed with Tamar.  She was amazing and strong.  And when Lyrik finally pulled his head out, I was so happy.  There was a brief time where I wanted to punch him however.
These two were angst, and love all combined.  When they collided, it was very dramatic.  I love this authors writing and how she brings her characters around.  There is a time when I was so angry, but I totally understood these two.  Such a great book!!!
This book is available now and I highly recommend it!!!

Redemptive (book 2 in the Combative trilogy)
by Jay Mclean

I have been looking forward to this book for quite awhile, the ending of Combative is a killer!!

Synopsis:
It's said that your life flashes before your eyes when you die.
It must only happen to those whose lives were worthy.
Clearly, mine was not.
The only thing that happened to me was a repeat of what I thought was my death.
The blast of the gun as it went off.
The loss of my breath as two hundred pounds of dead weight dropped on top of me.
And then darkness.
This replayed over and over.
When the guy squatted down next to me and asked if I was hurt, the only thing I could see, feel,
hear, were those few seconds.
Even now, as I sat in the back of a blacked out van—it was the only thing that ran through my mind.
Gunshot, breath, darkness.

This book is very different from the first.  I would almost call this one a prequel.  This is what happened to Bailey/Madison before we met her in Combative.  There is no Ky in this book, which was a little sad.  But, we do get to know and love Nate DeLuca, who I hated in Combative.  I also did not realize this book was part of a trilogy so I was hoping it would all be tied up at the end of this book, but I realized about halfway through there was no way it could be.  We get a ton of insight into Bailey and how she became involved with Nate.  I loved seeing the relationship progress between them, there were so many twists and turns.  I honestly have no idea where this next book is going to go, but I can't wait to find out!!

Combative and Redemptive are both available now, but both are cliffhangers, so beware!!!  Combative is currently on sale for $.99.  This is a great series and I cannot wait for the conclusion.

9 Letters
by Blake Austin

Synopsis:
Luke Cawley is a broken man. After his wife’s tragic death, he lost everything that mattered in the world. Now, his life is filled with hard days, harder nights, and a steady stream of alcohol and the wrong kind of women. Nothing helps.

Until the letters arrive on Luke’s doorstep.

Nine envelopes. Nine messages. Nine chances to find his way back.

Rae Goode is looking for the real thing. After fighting her way out of a string of bad relationships, she’s ready for something different–something true.
She meets Luke while piecing her life together, and right away she can tell that he’s different. Drawn together by fate and the desire to heal, Rae and Luke discover new ways to mend their broken hearts–one letter at a time.

This story was a sweet story about loss and finding your way out.  It was heartbreaking, but also inspiring as well.  I loved seeing Luke find his way with the help of the letters.  The things that his wife had him do were so simple, yet meant so much.  This book made me cry, as well as laugh.
This is a different book for sure, it's not overtly sexy.  Its more sweet and moving.  It did take me awhile to get into this book, but once I did, I was sucked in.
This book is available now and is free on Kindle Unlimited.

Soulles
by TM Frazier

I have anxiously been waiting for this book.  This book cannot be read as a stand alone, you must have read Lawless first.  The end of Lawless almost killed me, so I devoured this one as soon as I received it!!

I loved getting to know Bear and Thia in Lawless, but Soulless is full of twists and turns that totally threw me.  As with all of the books in this series it is dark in some parts, and very intense. At the end of Lawless we were very confused and had no idea where it was going.  Soulless jumps right back in where we left off.  Bear is very alpha and super sexy and I adored him.  I am a sucker for an alpha biker!!

I am a huge fan of this series and I highly recommend it!  And based on the end of this book, Bear and Thia's story is wrapped up, but more is coming and I am so excited!!!
Both books are available now!
